Congratulations to Benjamin Myers who has been awarded the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction, for his novel The Gallows Pole.
Last year’s winner, Sebastian Barry, presented Benjamin Myers with the award, along with a cheque for £25,000 and a specially-
commissioned glass panel trophy.
